Formosa
Formosa is a city in central Brazil, just east of the capital Brasília. Formosa Cathedral is in the city center. The nearby Couros Foundation Museum preserves the town’s history and culture. To the northwest, in Itiquira Park, are the towering Itiquira Falls. Just east, Buraco das Araras is a huge sinkhole with a green lagoon at the bottom, surrounded by tropical vegetation and home to caimans, toucans and macaws.
