Karah Wertz, campground manager, adds a new 21st century addition to the campground. The campground offers full hook up, water/electric, and tent sites. They ran the campground for 40 years with smiles and humor every day. We love our campground family and hope you all enjoy as much as we have for the past 50 years. You can also go next door to Shawnee State Park to hike or take a relaxing 3 mile bike ride. The Juniata river offers many great opportunities for fishing or floating in a raft on a hot day. Harold was the biggest jokester and Dorie the sweetest lady you’ve ever met. Doris was one of the founders of the Military Mothers and Harold was a retired USPS worker. We are within a few miles from downtown Bedford, PA, and center to Flight 93 and Johnstown. We are moving into the 21st century with online reservations and WIFI but nothing compares to our weekend activities of bingo and fire sessions with friends and family. This campground holds value to old fashion camping that involves sitting around the campfire with family and making smores. Some of our oldest campers have been here for 30 or more years. Getting cooled down in the creek by floating is one of our favorite times together. Choice Camping Court was born in 1969 by the idea of Harold and Doris Wertz as a small 10 site campground on family farmland. Choice Camping Court is located in Manns Choice, PA with many wonderful daytime activities to explore in Bedford County and surrounding counties. Many great local shops and stops to enjoy while staying with us. The campground continues to be run by family, Troy and Charles (Chip) Wertz, who own and operate the now 245 site campground. To this day, we are still military owned and operated, we appreciate all that our military men and women do for our country.
