Dimora delle Camelie is country house located in the small town of SantʼAndrea di Compito, only 10 minutes drive from the the city of Lucca. The three storey building is elegantly restored: on the ground floor is a spacious dining room for 12 people ; lounge-living room with open fire TV and Wi-Fi internet access; well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave; laundry room with washing machine and dryer. On the first floors are three rooms and another three rooms are on the second floor; all rooms have a private bathroom, desk and wardrobe. Two rooms in particular also have a sitting area with sofa bed.The house has central heating and a centralised dust extraction system. The garden, with table and chairs, is perfect for open air breakfast and dinner. The stone built house is immersed in the grren surroundings of the village of S.Andrea, where you can re-discover the rythms and flavours of days gone by. The pleasant ringing of the church bells will mark your visit, taking you back to a gentle, regular pace of life. At walking distance from the house you can find a small grocery store, a bakery making excellent bread and croissant and a restaurant/pizzeria/pub called Tre Tigli where you can try local dishes and great italian pizza. Near the house you can also find springs with drinkable water. The city of Pisa and Pisa airport are only 30 miuntes drive, Florence 45 minutes, the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi 30 minutes.
