there's no air-conditioning. set amid 20 hectares of tree-filled grounds, this understated resort is 10 km from aerial cableway hartbeespoort and 18 km from the magaliesberg mountain range. a hostel features bunk beds and communal bathrooms. there's a restaurant, a bar and a hot tub (fee), as well as a kids' pool and 2 outdoor pools (1 with a waterslide). accommodations range from tents with minifridges and shared bathrooms, to unfussy thatched-roof log cabins and redbrick chalets with kitchens; most offer tvs. other amenities include a skate park, mini-golf and a driving range, plus a playground and bbq facilities.
