Hosur is an industrial city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the bank of Ponnaiyar, 35 kilometres South-East of Bengaluru and 306 kilometres west of Chennai, the state capital. Hosur is the gateway to Bengaluru from Tamil Nadu and serves as a satellite town of it.
