The interior is beautifully appointed with antique furniture primarily in the federal style. The seven spacious bedrooms are comfortably and tastefully appointed. There are 3 full kitchens and a large dining room for family or group gatherings. The landscaped yard and white octagonal gazebo overlooking a pond and farm pastures are great for wedding or outdoor events. The farm provides hiking trails and tons of fresh country air. The Manor golf course in Farmville is 30 minutes away and the historic civil war surrender grounds are only 25 minutes away in Appomattox. The James River State Park, Holiday Lake Start Park and Bear Creek State Park are less than 30 minutes away. Shopping at Greenfront Furniture store in Farmville, Virginia is 25 minutes away.
