Leongatha marks the start of the Great Southern Rail Trail, with its 72 kilometre long walking, cycling and horse riding trail creating the perfect opportunity to see Gippsland.
Aside from joining us for a pint on arrival, there are a range of other ways you can enjoy our local community and experience all that Leongatha has to offer.
Situated on the way to Wilson’s Prom, Leongatha is a great spot to stop, grab a bite to eat and take in the East Gippsland countryside.
McCartin’s has been serving the local community since 1891 back when our namesake and local stalwart, Hugh McCartin, received Leongatha’s first liquor license and opened the doors of the then Commercial Hotel.
